About this Event
Join us for a cozy afternoon of communal learning at the Hall! Warm your heart as you discover how to mend clothes and refresh your wardrobe with a touch of love.
Kerry Randazzo of Dasterdly Custom Apparel will lead a lesson on several useful hand stitches that can be applied to a variety of basic mending and tailoring projects. These beginner-friendly stitches don’t require expensive equipment, making them ideal for aspiring sewists!
After the lesson, participants will have the chance to work on their own projects and receive one-on-one professional advice on how to apply their new skills to the garments they bring to the workshop.
Sewing materials, tea, and light snacks will be provided.
The workshop will begin at 2:00 PM(doors open at 1:30 PM) and will run approximately 45 minutes, followed by 45 minutes of 'office hours' and a clothing swap.
Capacity is limited so please register in advance. Tickets are on a sliding scale, pay what you can afford.
