Mending Club at The Apple Core

It's finally here! Mending Club has come to Stockport!

Once upon a time, every household had a biscuit tin full of buttons, needles, thread and press studs and everyone knew how to use them. A couple of generations later, a missing button or a worn hole is often the end of the road for a favourite garment. Mending Club is here to fix that.

That wool jumper that's become a moth buffet? Your well loved jeans with thread bare thighs? Those socks that have become more like fingerless gloves for your feet? We can mend it all!

Come and join us at The Apple Core from 6-8pm on the 13th of August to darn, patch, stitch and mend. Mending Club is open to all skill levels, whether you're a veteran mender or you can only thread a needle, mending club is for everyone!

Tickets are sliding scale by donation, all proceeds generated go towards materials for club attendees and the facilitation of our mending club.
