ARTIST DETAILS:
Bundy’s Bluebird is delighted to welcome the luminous voice of Menaka, joined by two exceptional collaborators: Tsoof Baras on percussion and handpan, and Kelsey Giarola on piano and vocals.
Together they create a rich and intimate musical landscape. Tsoof’s rhythmic world spans West African drumming traditions, orchestral percussion and the hypnotic tones of the handpan, bringing groove, texture and spontaneity to every performance. Kelsey — singer-songwriter, pianist and vocal coach — brings warm harmonies and expressive piano, drawing on her background in jazz and contemporary songwriting.
At the centre is Menaka, an award-winning Indian-Australian singer whose music sits beautifully at the meeting place of cultures. Rooted in South Indian Carnatic tradition and shaped by contemporary songwriting, her songs weave East and West in music that is soulful, reflective and deeply human.
Expect an evening of story, song and connection — shimmering handpan rhythms, piano textures and soaring vocals coming together in music that speaks straight to the heart.
