4-week in‑person group. A supportive men’s group for real conversations about life, purpose, meaning and existence.About this Event
Real Conversations for Real Life - You Are Welcome Here
Men often find it difficult to talk deeply about the stuff that really matters - relationships, communication, sex, death, loss, parenting, family, meaning and purpose. These are the things that shape our identity, yet they’re often the hardest conversations to have. This group offers a supportive place to face these and other challenges with honesty, courage, and connection.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, isolated, or seeking personal growth, this group offers practical tools to help you develop as a human being.
4-week in-person group - Meeting 2 times in June and 2 times in July
Dates: Sunday, June 7th and 28th, July 19th and 26th
(with optional Father’s Day gathering 8am-9am on June 21st)
Time: 9:00am-10:30am
The Men Who Think Too Much group is about learning to embrace the GIFTS of “over”thinking, “over”complication, and “over”sensitivity.
We do NOT pathologize or attempt to cure complication, sensitivity or thinking. We embrace them as vital parts of an evolving manhood and masculinity.
This group is for men who think, feel and ponder the things that matter in life and are looking for a welcoming, connective place among men to continue to explore their journey towards mental wholeness and personal discovery.

Group facilitated by Corey Worden, MA, LCPC and Cody Gleim, Master's-level intern
Corey brings over 15 years of counseling experience backed by a lifetime of "doing the work." Unapologetically overthinking, overcomplicating, and oversensitive for over 50 years—from corporate boardrooms to manual labor to his private practice—he has walked a path of sobriety for 23 years, seeking to live what his mentor called a "distinctly human life" each day. This life is shared with his wife of 137 years (actually 19), their dog, and only six children—three boys and three girls, including their youngest with special needs. A volunteer youth coach for soccer, basketball, and baseball for the last 11+ years, Corey is a constant seeker of profound wisdom, the peace of mountains and beaches, and the elusive, perfect jam band setlist.
Cody is currently pursuing his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lewis University. His work is shaped by a genuine commitment to helping people navigate the challenges that define their lives. His own path has led him to study and advocate for men’s mental health, especially the questions men carry about identity, masculinity, and what it means to live a meaningful life. That curiosity has grown into a passion for creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and supported. Outside of his clinical work, Cody finds joy in time with his nieces and nephews and in the simple, grounding experience of connecting with others. He feels most centered in nature — whether he’s hiking, kayaking, or out on a disc golf course — where he can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what matters.
