8:30 - The Memphis Radio KingsThe Memphis Radio Kings reminiscent of early-'80s R.E.M. and the Replacements, the Memphis Radio Kings borrow copiously from indie pop, rootsy rock, blues, gospel, and alt-country. They cleverly blend these sounds together into what can best be described as bluesy country-pop. In 2001, Memphis Radio Kings released their first CD, an eight-song self-titled EP. They released No Band in the Happy Place, their first full-length album, in 2002. Memphis Radio Kings have garnered a loyal following in the Seattle area.
