Calling all Venango County Fair Alumni, families, volunteers, exhibitors, Fair Board members, superintendents, 4-H alumni, and longtime Fair friends!
Join us for:
✨ MEMORY LANE OF FAIRS GONE BY ✨
📅 Sunday, October 11
⏰ 3:00–5:00 p.m.
📍 Rainy Linn Hall – Venango County Fairgrounds
We’re getting together for an afternoon of reminiscing, storytelling, recording Fair memories, reconnecting with old friends, and dreaming about the future.
We want to hear about YOUR Fair.
What do you remember?
🐄 The livestock shows?
👑 Fair royalty?
🎠 Midway memories?
🏆 That project you were SO proud of?
🚜 Tractor pulls, derbies, shows and grandstand events?
🍟 Fair food that you still think about?
😂 Something that happened 40 years ago that your family STILL talks about?
Come share those stories with others who remember your era of the Fair — and help us preserve them for future generations.
🎉 AND WE HAVE BIG NEWS!
Our historic preservation effort has received a $10,000 challenge grant!
If we raise $10,000 by December 1, 2026, it will be matched with another $10,000. That means our community has an opportunity to turn $10,000 into $20,000 for preserving and celebrating Venango County Fair history.
We’ll talk more about the challenge, fundraising ideas, our work with Bridge Builders Community Foundation, and plans leading toward the Fair’s 75th Anniversary in 2031.
💡 Bring your ideas.
📸 Bring your old photos or memorabilia if you’d like.
🗣️ Bring your stories.
👵 Bring somebody who remembers even MORE than you do. 😂
No RSVP needed!
Please SHARE this event and invite anyone you know who has been part of the Venango County Fair over the years.
The history of our Fair isn’t just dates and buildings.
It’s the people, the stories, the traditions, and the memories.
Help us make sure we don’t lose them. ❤️🎡
