About this Event
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop will explore how we work with memory in our writing. It will be of interest to those with a life-writing practice. We will look at how best to mine our memories for all their richness, as well as how to integrate memory with our current perspective in our writing. What is the difference between the ‘I’ of ‘then’ and the ‘I’ of ‘now’ and what work do we want that difference to do? How do we do justice to those memories given where we are now? The workshop will include both discussion and writing exercises.
