Dementia Friendly Galesburg and VNA Community Services are excited to bring our Memory Café to Innkeeper’s Coffee in downtown Galesburg. These gatherings are designed to be relaxed, informal, and welcoming for people living with dementia, their caregivers, family members, friends — and community members who simply want to be part of something good.
There is ZERO expectation of fundraising or solicitation. No sales pitch. No pressure. No obligation to participate in anything.
☕ Grab a cup of coffee.
💬 Have a conversation.
🌱 Join an activity if you feel like it.
💜 Sit with someone who could use a little company.
👋 Or simply stop in and say hello.
That’s it. Community members being there for other community members.
Our upcoming Memory Cafés are all Mondays from 3:00–5:00 PM at Innkeeper’s Coffee, 80 N. Seminary Street in Galesburg:
October 26 | November 30 | December 21
You don’t need to have dementia or be a caregiver to help make Galesburg a more dementia-friendly community. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer is our presence, patience, conversation, and kindness.
