Join Emma Drake and Riverside for a creative Memory Bear Workshop. In this class, you will sew your very own precious memory bear that will hold fond memories. Make your bear from personal garments like baby clothes, relatives’ clothing, or school uniforms.Emma is an excellent and talented, passionate, young seamstress who has been sewing as a hobby for many years. As a member of the Riverside team, she loves being creative. During this class, Emma will guide you through a clear pattern with full support to help you achieve the best memory bear. Many materials used in the class are available from Riverside Beads & Crafts.
What you need to know:
Experienced using your sewing machine is needed to attend this class.
Please bring your working machine, threads and fabric scissors to use on the day.
You will need to bring your own fabric, approx 6-8 adult sized garments or lots of little baby ones (preferred is shirt/cotton material as it won’t stretch as much and will be much easier to sew).
Materials included in this workshop are stuffing, safety eyes & noses.
