"Memories on Main" car show will be held Saturday May 23, 2026, from 9:00am till 2:00pm on Main street Galax.
"Briarpatch Marketplace" will be sponsoring live music that day in front of their business.
Show schedule;
Setup begins 8:00 a.m. (loading supplies at Old Cranks Museum & transport to main street). Joel Rudy, Elijah Funk, and Dan Loftis have signed up to help with this.
Registration begins 9:00 a.m. (Farmer's market on Main street).
Janice Bourne, Patty Brewer, Susan Jennings, & Sue Westervelt, Linda Cooley, have signed up.
Begin parking cars 9:00 a.m.
Charles Rudy, Joel Rudy, Dick Cooley, Gary Bourne, Elijah Funk, Greg Armentrou, Mike Westervelt, & Dan Loftis have signed up to help.
This year it was decided to park cars diagonally on one side of the street, then park the cars parallel to the sidewalk on the other side of the street.
Judging begins at 11:00 a.m.
Charles Rudy, Joel Rudy, Dick Cooley, Gary Bourne, Elijah Funk, Greg Armentrou, Mike Westervelt, Ty Harrison, Mark Ogle, Sue Westervelt, Mike Westervelt, & Dan Loftis have graciously signed up to help judge.
Charles Rudy requests that the judges meet at the registration tent (at farmers market) at 11:00am before the judging begins.
Clean-up after the show will begin shortly after 2:00 p.m.
Charles Rudy, Joel Rudy, Dick Cooley, & Gary Bourne have volunteered to help.
Trophies will be awarded at 2:00pm
