🌊 A Paddle Out for Jeffrey Frederick 🌊
Please join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the New Smyrna Beach Inlet as we come together to honor and remember our dear friend and beloved surf team member, Jeffrey Frederick.
We will begin the day at the NSSA competition, cheering on Jeffrey’s brother, Kevin, as he competes in the ocean that meant so much to them both. Kevin intends to give it everything he has and surf the competition in Jeffrey’s honor. We would love to surround him with support as he paddles out carrying his brother’s memory with him.
The competition is expected to run from approximately 8:00 a.m. until noon. As soon as it concludes, we will gather for Jeffrey’s memorial paddle out—surrounded by the surfing community he loved and the people whose lives he touched.
Jeffrey was more than an incredible surfer. He was a kind and gentle man, a faithful friend, and a bold follower of Jesus. He prayed before heats, encouraged those around him, and carried a peaceful spirit wherever he went. There was never a harsh word from him. He left this world sober, deeply loved, and safely in the hands of the Lord.
Whether you paddle out with us or stand with us on the shoreline, we would be honored to have you there as we celebrate Jeffrey’s life and send our love beyond the waves.
