Ruby Swaim was born to Melvin and Patsy Swaim on March 31, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away April 30, 2026, in her hometown of Mansfield, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Judy Massey; and her brother-in-law, Jimmy Crabtree.
She is survived by her stepmother, Linda Knoblock Swaim; stepsister, Tammi Adams-Cobbett (Geoff); stepbrother, Scott Knoblock (Jenny); brother-in-law, Mark Massey; and sister, Melissa Crabtree.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: @Jay Massey (Kelly), Sarah Jane Anne Massey (Jonathan), Jordan Allison Crabtree, Kaitlin Knoblock, Patrick Secrest , Joshua Knoblock, Jessica Crabtree, and John Crabtree II (Chloe).
Her great-nieces and great-nephews Olive, Oakland, and Oxley Massey; Jordan, Jackson, Jon Jr., and Jacob Edmisten; Elsabeth Secrest; and Isabella, Bailey, and Jayden Crabtree.
Ruby also leaves behind numerous cousins and many, many friends who will cherish her memory.
Ruby worked at Jack-in-the-Box, Deb’s Flowers & Gift Shop, and the Amplex Corporation. She also worked for 25 years at what was then called Dallas Power & Light, where she made lifelong friends.
Please ensure if sending flowers they are set to arrive at the church by 5pm on Friday, June 12.
