Memorial Day Parade, Picnic, and More Festivities on May 25
This Memorial Day, join the community of Green in honoring and remembering our nation’s finest at our annual Memorial Day events. Learn more at cityofgreen.org/MemorialDay

Pancake Breakfast | Fire Station #1, 4200 Massillon Road | 7 am – 10 am
Join us this Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, for our annual pancake breakfast. Breakfast, prepared and served by members of the Fire Local Union #2964, includes pancakes and sausage, generously donated by Giant Eagle. Juice and coffee are also provided. The Pancake Breakfast is 7 am to 10 am at Fire Station #1, 4200 Massillon Rd. Breakfast is free; however, donations are accepted to benefit Furnace Street Mission Safety Forces Support Center.

Memorial Day Parade | Steps off at Green High School, 1474 Boettler Road | 10 am
The Memorial Day Parade begins at Green High School, 1474 Boettler Rd, at 10 am, travels east on Boettler Rd to Massillon Rd S (southbound lanes only), then onto Steese Rd W to Green Intermediate School. If your business or organization is interested in being in the parade, please contact our Parks Division at (330) 896-6621 before May 16.

Memorial Day Ceremony and Picnic | Veterans Park, 1900 Steese Road | 12 pm
To honor and remember our Nation’s fallen heroes, the annual Memorial Day Ceremony begins at 12 pm at the Green Veterans Memorial Park, 1900 Steese Rd. Beginning immediately following the Memorial Day Ceremony, a free picnic lunch is served in Veterans Memorial Park. The lunch includes a hot dog, chips, drink and ice cream treat.

Community Car Show | Queen of Heaven Parish Life Center, 1800 Steese Road | 12:30 pm
Following the Memorial Day Ceremony, classic and specialty cars are shown in the Queen of Heaven Parish Life Center lot. The show ends at 3 pm.
Parking for Breakfast, Ceremony and Picnic at Veterans Park
Parking is available at the Fire Station #1 (handicap parking only), Queen of Heaven Church, and the Anthony Funeral Home. Please note Steese Road will be shut down to traffic during the Parade and Memorial Ceremony.
