Reedsburg Veteran Service Organizations (including VFW Post 1916 and the Auxiliary, American Legion Post 350 and the Auxiliary, and Eagles Nest Marine Corps League Detachment 1293) cordially invite you to honor our deceased Veterans with a small parade and ceremony.
We invite all Veterans, current Service Members, and our local Scouting Troops to participate in our activities. We will meet for the start of our small parade at 0920 at the Human Services Building (425 6th Street, Reedsburg) and step off at 0940. Our route will take us down N Pine St. to North Ave to 8th Street and then up Myrtle to the cemetery. We ask the community to line the route to show support for our Veterans and Community Members.
Once at the cemetery, we will hold our ceremony below the Chapel with keynote speakers including Mayor Dave Estes and State Representative Tony Kurtz. We will also have music provided by the Reedsburg Area High School Marching Band and our local Veteran Service Organizations conducting the 21-gun salute and Taps.
Should Mother Nature “rain on our parade”, we will move our ceremony at the CAL Center. We thank everyone in our community for their continued support.
