About this Event

Event Summary

Join us in honoring our heroes and pushing your limits this Memorial Day! Celebrate by participating in either the CrossFit workout Murph or a 5k 'Burden March'. There will be two Murph heats with a concurrent 5k 'Burden March'. Enjoy food, giveaways, and community! Register now and be a part of something special. This event supports Health4Heroes, a health and wellness nonprofit that serves Veterans and First Responders across the Front Range of Colorado.

Murph

Murph is a famous CrossFit workout named after Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan.

Murph Workout

1 Mile Run
100 Pullups
200 Pushups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run

Complete in a 20lb (male) or 14lb (female) weighted vest or plate carrier. Modifications are available.

'Burden March'

Participate in a 5k around CrossFit Loveland if you would rather walk, ruck, or run. Carry some weight (weighted vest, rucksack, or sandbag), honor America’s military men and women who lost their lives in service to their country.

Workout Times

8:00 am Murph Heat 1 (limited to 30 participants)
9:00 am Murph Heat 2 (limited to 30 participants)
9:00 am 'Burden March'

Virtual Option: Show your support virtually—no need to submit times or results.

Food

Beautiful Life Bowls will be on site with delicious acai bowls for purchase.

Complimentary Hoist IV hydration beverage to all participants.

Cost

Murph / 'Burden March': $30, includes one shirt or tank top(registration cutoff for shirt or tank top is May 13th). Free for Veterans and First Responders, shirt not included - proof of service will be verified at check in.
