Memorial Day weekend is always a time of thankfulness, reflection, and fellowship. We aim to honor those that have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.// THIS YEAR’S EVENT
As we have for the last 16 years, we will be hosting the workout "Body Armor" in memory of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy on Monday, May 25th.
We have scheduled heats in PushPress starting from 8:00 am, with a new heat every 20 minutes, until the final heat at 9:40 am. To ensure you secure your preferred heat time, make sure to sign up early, as this benchmark Hero WOD always attracts a massive turnout.

// WHAT IS BODY ARMOR / MURPH?
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor". Every year we complete this workout in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is. We complete a hero WOD every year to honor the fallen and pay tribute to our bravest Americans.

1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run
*Complete with a weighted vest if you have one*
This workout has scaling options and is open to anyone who wants to participate.
