We invite you to join us for a heartfelt Memorial Day Service and Flag Placement at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, located on Sunrise Beach Road in Crownsville, MD. This event, sponsored by our dedicated youth from organizations such as Scouting America, Girl Scouts, 4H, and Young Marines, will take place on Saturday, May 23rd. The ceremony will commence promptly at 8:00 AM with an invocation, followed by inspiring speeches from a local politician, representatives from the Daughters of the American Revolution, and various Veterans groups.
Please note that the cemetery gates will open at 7:30 AM to allow ample time for parking and reaching the ceremony site before its start. Remember, parking on the grass or on Sunrise Beach Road is prohibited to ensure everyone's safety, as county police will enforce this rule strictly.
Following the memorial service, flag placement will begin at 8:30 AM, where our youth will honor the fallen heroes by adorning their graves with flags. We hope to see you there to show your support and gratitude for our veterans.
