Please join us for this annual Field Mass and Memorial Day Service for those who lost their lives defending our freedom.
Since 1920, a “Field Mass” has been held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Memorial Day. It is an appropriate location, as we honor and pray for those who have died. The outdoor setting, however, is also a way to memorialize the thousands of Masses that have taken place on battlefields around the world, celebrated by priests who serve in the armed forces and attended by Catholic soldiers.
