West and appearance is standard Federal Uniform, with the caveat items must be clean.
-Accoutrements clean and polished, -Shoes clean and polished,
-Weapons clean and polished (and bayonets)
-Uniforms clean and dirt free.
-bring at least 3 rounds for a rifle salute, and be prepared to present the colors. All in all very low key event. I would suggest getting there early as parking gets very crowded quickly.
*no canteens or haversacks needed, however as it is late May in Houston please bring something to drink and make sure you eat before hand.
The whole thing should last no more than 1 hour typically. Once we fire, we find our place in the procession, march in and present the colors to the reviewing party and march out. Once done you are free to leave.
