Memorial Day Ceremony

Join the Vienna Community Band and the American Legion Post 180 for a solemn Memorial Day Ceremony at the historic Flint Hill Cemetery.

This annual tradition is a time for our community to gather in reflection and gratitude. The VCB is honored to provide the musical backdrop for this ceremony, performing a selection of patriotic hymns, service anthems, and reflective pieces from our catalogue to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The Ceremony Includes:

Color Guard presentation by American Legion Post 180.

Wreath-laying ceremony.

Keynote speakers and local dignitaries.

Musical tributes by the Vienna Community Band.

A traditional sounding of "Taps."

Attendee Information:

Parking: Limited parking is available within the cemetery; please arrive early and follow the directions of the American Legion volunteers.

Seating: There is very limited seating provided. We highly recommend bringing a folding chair if you have difficulty standing for the duration of the 45-minute ceremony.

Attire: Respectful outdoor attire.
