About this Event

Melt into Motion is a 2.5-hour partner workshop where social dance meets partnered bodywork. You'll work with a partner and rotate in class like dance. The goal is to release tension, open the body, and build the kind of physical trust that makes dancing feel effortless - for both both roles!

***Requirements***

Ideal for dancers of partner dances. No massage experience needed. No performance pressure. Just learning to feel more attuned to another person, on and off the floor.
If you have no partner dance experience but want to join, contact us before signing up!

***What you'll explore***

· Grounded, intentional touch influenced by Thai bodywork traditions
· How to help your partner release tension in the neck, shoulders, and back

***Your guides***

Tom Lev is a teacher, community builder, and lifelong student of embodied wisdom. His path has taken him from the intensity of air traffic control to the intimate vulnerability of dance, and eventually to the cushion. Along the way, he had built schools and communities grounded in shared values, curiosity, and care.

Tom's teaching is shaped by a simple conviction: that wisdom isn't meant to be understood, but lived. His work in dance taught him that presence and empathy can be transmitted without words, and that insight carries into everything he does.

He is drawn to the cultivation of stillness, restraint, and emotional awareness, not as ideals to achieve, but as qualities to grow into, again and again. His talks and classes reflect that ongoing journey: honest, grounded, and oriented toward what actually helps people move through their lives with more ease and kindness.Tom serves on the board of Insight Meditation Houston.

Jess Crutchfield is a multidimensional teacher, bodyworker, coach, and embodiment guide devoted to helping people live a more vital, aligned, and fully embodied Whole Yes. She is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, E-RYT yoga educator, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, and longtime Thai bodywork instructor with years of experience teaching in professional massage therapy education settings.

Her Thai bodywork practice is rooted in northern Thai lineage and refined through an immersive period of study in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she trained across multiple intensive courses in traditional Thai massage, including hands-on service with Thai elders. Before her work in healing arts, Jess taught instrumental music in public school bands and orchestras, a background that continues to shape her teaching through rhythm, precision, sequencing, and attuned listening.

Jess weaves conscious touch, nervous system awareness, yoga, mental fitness, functional health, and relational presence into a grounded, whole-person approach. Her teaching invites students to develop skillful hands, steady presence, and greater trust in the body’s innate capacity to heal, connect, and come alive.

Together, they've designed this workshop to be practical, accessible, and genuinely fun, whether you come solo or with a partner.
