Melody Trucks & The Fitzkee Brothers Band are back for another electrifying hometown show — don’t miss this beautiful celebration of world-class musicianship rooted in community. Taking the stage at The Listening Booth, they’re welcoming powerhouse collaborators Joe Marcinek and Will Bart, expanding their soulful, groove-driven sound with deep improvisation and jam-scene firepower. The result is a one-night musical summit, as the Fitzkee Brothers return home to host fellow road-tested artists, creating an electrifying experience built on connection, chemistry, and fearless collaboration.
Melody Trucks and the Fitzkee Brothers don’t just play Southern rock—they set it on fire. Melody, daughter of Allman Brothers drum legend Butch Trucks, has carved her own lane with a voice that can preach, plead, and flat-out roar. The Fitzkee Brothers bring the heat, fusing raw, blues-soaked riffs with a rhythm section that hits like a runaway train. Together, they’re not chasing the legacy—they’re rewriting it, night after night, with a sound that’s as dangerous as it is electrifying.
Joe Marcinek is a renowned guitarist, composer, and bandleader best known for leading the Joe Marcinek Band (JMB), a dynamic project featuring a rotating lineup of high-caliber musicians from the jam band scene. Blending funk, jazz, and improvisational rock, Marcinek has built a reputation for electrifying live performances and original compositions that showcase his fluid guitar work and collaborative spirit. Over the years, he has worked with acclaimed artists such as Melvin Seals, George Porter Jr., Steve Molitz, Natalie Cressman, Jennifer Hartswick, and Allie Kral. Known for themed releases like Dead Funk Summit and The Groove Session, Marcinek continues to push creative boundaries, delivering fresh, groove-driven performances that make every Joe Marcinek Band show a unique musical experience.
Will Bart is a soulful multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and composer whose musical journey was sparked at age 13 when he first heard Luther Dickinson’s cigar-box slide work with the North Mississippi Allstars—a sound that unlocked the Hill Country blues for him and set the tone for his future career. That early inspiration came full circle in 2014 when Grammy-nominated sacred steel pioneer Robert Randolph discovered Bart and invited him to play with Randolph and The Word (a project including members of the Allstars and keyboardist John Medeski), a milestone that not only validated his chops but connected him directly to the very artists who shaped his voice. Since then, Bart has carved his own path—leading his live-music collective Johnny In The Basement, cutting records at the Dickinson family’s Zebra Ranch Studios with members of the Allstars, and even filling in on bass for North Mississippi Allstars—while carrying forward the groove-driven, improvisational spirit he learned from mentors like Dickinson and Randolph.
