We’ve stepped in to rescue your break with Mellow Monday Live 2 – a laid‑back daytime house, prog and techno session on Easter Monday, April 6, perfect for closing out the holidays without destroying yourself for Tuesday.
When Easter Rave Origin II was pushed back, we moved fast to put something special together for everyone who still wanted quality electronic music over Easter. Mellow Monday Live 2 brings back the chilled, social vibe of our Adelaide Cup Day edition, with more music, a new space and a carefully curated lower‑BPM journey.
The music: house, progressive & low‑tempo techno
This edition is all about groove over intensity – think deeper, warmer, more melodic:
House with a relaxed, rolling feel
Progressive that builds slowly and smoothly
Techno under 130 BPM, hypnotic rather than hammering
Adelaide DJ legend Moshman joins BOF for a 6‑hour journey, 2–8 PM, giving them room to stretch out, connect the dots and keep you in that perfect “one more drink, one more track” headspace from afternoon into early evening.
A new home: Marion Hotel’s Garden Room
For the first time, we’re taking Mellow Monday into The Marion Hotel’s Garden Room – a space that has never been used for an event like this before. Expect a bright, comfortable setting with the right balance between “day party” and “nice place to actually hang out,” instead of a dark, late‑night club cave.
It’s the ideal environment for a mellow‑tempo soundtrack: space to move, space to talk, and space to breathe. Come through for a few hours or post up for the full 2–8 PM session.
