Join MELD and Austin Grimm for the official release party of MELD’s long-awaited sophomore album, Sunrise. Co-written, (she fully believes,) with the spirit of her late father, this album is five years in the making. This release party invites you to a space where both joy and grief can co-exist, honoring the resilience of the human spirit.
There will be a community altar present to honor loved ones who have passed. Guests are encouraged to bring a small item ( flower, candle, note) in remembrance. (Don't forget your item when you leave!)
Copies of MELD's first album "Words of the Water" are free to all who enter, and there will also be some merchandise to purchase!
9:00 PM — Opening Ceremony
9:15 PM — MELD performs Sunrise in full
10:15 PM — Austin Grimm & his band close out the night with original reggae and possibly some Dank Williams cuts! (Medicine Moon, Melanie and Austin's duo project may make an appearance or two as well!)
