The most recent winner of the coveted Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy - otherwise just known as the 'Jimmy Watson', Australia's top wine prize - is Four Winds Vineyard. It catapulted them into the national spotlight last November. And we are bringing Sarah Collingwood and her wines to Melbourne for the very first time to show you just how many more incredible wines this little Canberra-region winery has up their sleeve.
The Four Winds Story began more than a century ago with a miner and his wife who lived on the property just outside Canberra, in a slab-hut. Her name was Scheherazade, after the story telling character in The Arabian Nights. Her favourite story described a magic carpet being borne by the four winds of good fortune. So she named their small farm near ‘Four Winds’ in the hope it would carry their good fortunes. Today, Sarah and her husband John are the custodians of Four Winds, growing and producing all their own wine from their own vineyards, which were originally planted by Sarah's parents in the late 90's. We think you'd say good fortune has definitely found them!

- Tickets: Don’t worry about printing your tickets, as we will have a list of registered names at the door!
- Seating: Want to be seated with a particular group of people? No problem! Just make your preferences known on arrival at the venue and we’ll be sure you all wine and dine together. If you have a group larger than 4, please advise us prior to the event by emailing [email protected]
- Arriving late: Please note that late arrivals are permitted, however you may miss out on any wine or food that has already been served.
- Cancellations: No refunds are permitted. We know this is strict, however hospitality has tight margins and events are tough to execute at the best of times. COVID just made all that tougher. Your ticket is fully transferable though so you can send someone else in your place. Just let us know so we’ve got the right name at the door.
- Dietary restrictions: We are more than delighted to try and cater for any dietary restrictions, however our ability to do so is dependant on the venue we are working with. You must submit your dietary request at the time of booking in the booking form OR email us at [email protected] with specific details.
