Melbourne's most loved Chinese Moon Festival event is back for 2025! Bring your family and enjoy a FREE 2-hour showcase of traditional Chinese Lion Dancing, Chinese Dragon Dance, Kung fu & Martial arts demonstrations.Performed by the diverse members of the Chinese Masonic Society of Melbourne (CMS), in partnership with the Melbourne Chinatown Busienss Association (MCBA).
Bring your kids & family down to watch over a dozen performances from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Bring your best lanterns and parade with the lions down Chinatown at the event's conclusion.
Meet the CMS Dragon and Lion dance team. During breaks in the show, kids will have a chance to play and pose with the FREE LION DANCE COSTUMES from the Chinese Masonic Society.
5:30pm to 7:20pm - Lion, Dragon and Kung Fu performances
7:25pm - Lantern parade with the Lions down Chinatown. Back to the Chinese Masonic Society (7-9 Waratah Pl, Melbourne Chinatown).
Free meet and greet with the team and lion costumes.
Free kids lion play and photo opportunities for families
