Get ready for our second annual Christmas book exchange!

Our Christmas book exchange will be taking place at Pickel Barrel in Pickering on Saturday, December 13th from 11 AM - 2 PM.

Here are the next steps and what to expect:

1. Complete the Christmas book exchange questionnaire
2. You will be matched with someone by Friday, November 14th
3. The spending limit is between $50-$60
4. Every gift box should include 1 book from your person's wishlist, 1-2 reading snacks and 1 Christmas themed item

In the event that you’re not able to make it, please make arrangements with your person to exchange gifts.

Once I have been notified of your reservation, I will email you the Christmas book exchange questionnaire.

The Melanin Silent Reading Club is a social book club that meets the second Saturday of every month in Scarborough or Durham Region from 11 AM - 2 PM unless otherwise stated.

We also meet the fourth Saturday of every month on ZOOM for a reading sprint from 9 AM - 10:30 AM.

This book club is for BIPOC women only.

You will get a chance to meet other book lovers like yourself, enjoy a meal, add a ton of books to your never ending book list and maybe get some uninterrupted reading time.
