Melanated Joy Fest is a family-friendly community block party created to celebrate joy, culture, creativity, connection, and community.

There is a lot happening in the world right now, and we believe our communities deserve a space to simply breathe, laugh, play, connect, and experience joy together.
Melanated Joy Fest was created around the idea that joy is freedom and joy is liberation. We're bringing back the feeling of a 90s neighborhood block party and family reunion, the kind of day when kids played outside, neighbors gathered, music filled the street, and everybody came together just to have a good time.
This is a day to put down the stress of everyday life and come outside!
