MELA 2026: An Evening with SolOm - Yoga + Breathwork + Soundbath
About this Event
Join us for a restorative 75-minute Yoga & Breathwork session in the Mezzanine Gallery on the second floor, surrounded by Saroj Patel’s current exhibition, Matrika: She Who Makes Worlds.
Set within this inspiring gallery environment, the session offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the body, and create space for calm. You will be guided through mindful movement, followed by pranayama (traditional yogic breathing practices) to support focus, balance, and a deeper connection to the present moment.
Meditation and an extended period of relaxation will complete the practice, while live handpan music the movement, breathwork, and stillness. Expect an immersive and grounding blend of yoga, breath, meditation, sound, and art, leaving you feeling centred, refreshed, and deeply relaxed.
The experience continues with additional events later in the evening, bookable separately. You can join a joyful Kirtan & Chanting session, inviting everyone to sing traditional Sanskrit mantras together, accompanied by live instruments in an uplifting, welcoming, and inclusive musical experience.
Following the Kirtan, enjoy a special live performance by Dulce on violin and SolOM on handpan, featuring their original compositions.
Please note that tickets for the Yoga & Breathwork session, Kirtan & Chanting, and the live performance must be booked separately.
