For one remarkable extended weekend, February 14 - 16, the streets of Merida will burst with creativity as the MEL Artist Studio Tour will showcase over 30 studios and highlight 58 talented local and international artists working in a variety of mediums, including painting, murals, ceramics, weaving, paper making, photography, and fused glass.
Most of the creative hubs are conveniently located in Centro. However, with so many studios to explore, having a game plan will enhance your experience. You can organize your day based on a specific neighborhood or art style—it's your artistic journey to enjoy!
Be sure to mark your calendars—the tour will take place on February 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, February 15 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and February 16 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Tickets will be available starting February 1! Each ticket includes a helpful map of all the studios. Priced at 500 pesos, tickets can be purchased at the Merida English Library located at Calle 53 #524, x 66 y 68, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. After February 1, you can also buy them online at the MEL Shop.
