Charlie’s career bridges art and activism. From his early days in the 1980s punk band L’Étranger, whose anthem One People became a rallying cry against apartheid, through decades of political work as MP for Timmins - James Bay, he has consistently fought for Indigenous rights, an end to income inequality, and community-led change. His work in Parliament included leading “Shannen’s Dream,” a successful campaign for equitable education for First Nations children.
Now retired from electoral politics, Charlie tours the country to inspire action against rising authoritarianism, economic inequality, and environmental destruction.
General admission tickets are priced at $15, $25, and $40. All tickets are general admission - no reserved seating. Every ticket
holder is welcomed equally. If you’re able, please select the level that reflects your capacity to give - every dollar after our costs are paid will go directly to the YES Shelter for Youth and Families.
