What is MEGA MEGA?
Mega Mega is a major new exhibition exploring Romford's rave years (1989–1999), opening in Romford in October 2026. We're inviting local people to help shape what future visitors will see, hear and experience by contributing material connected to the town's music, club and nightlife culture.
What Can I Bring?
We're looking for:
- Photographs
- Flyers and posters
- Tickets and wristbands
- Tapes and recordings
- Pirate radio material
- Club memorabilia
- Documents and ephemera
- Personal stories and memories
Whether you were on the dancefloor, behind the scenes, on pirate radio, in record shops, or helping make nights happen, we'd love to hear from you.
What Happens on the Day?
Our friendly volunteer team will welcome you, guide you through the process and carefully digitise any material you bring. Your items will be safely returned to you on the same day.
