TulsALIVE founders Scott J. Gaffen, CVA, and Brenda Michael-Haggard, CVA have decades of hands-on experiences, professional development and facilitation in all-things-Volunteerism. These basics, just like go-to-tools in any surgical suite, space travel, garden shed, or magician's hat(?) help grow mission awareness, broaden community support, retain invested Volunteers and--ultimately--expand even more resources/$$ for YOUR organization!

This is just one session in this 2025 THE Year to BE with TulsALIVE! to shore up YOUR ASKs (Attitudes/Aptitudes/Abilities, Skills, Knowledge). Walk away with understanding and tactics to more effectively engage volunteers.

Park: Enter off 129th East Ave, turn left (north) and circle to north parking lot. Once you park, you’ll see the wooden maze-like ramp access to the west entrance. Enter the building there, head straight until you run into the wall by the bathrooms, then go left until you can’t go any more. Turn right, down the stairs. Room 231 is to your left at bottom of stairs with a big mural on the wall inside. You’re there!

Certificate for four (4) Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward CVA recertification will be available upon request.
