Wombat Forest Vineyard is a genuine local winery icon, nestled on the edge of the Wombat State Forest and only 15 minutes from Trentham. For more than 25 years they have been handcrafting wines, producing award winning & elegant cool climate wines. The rich volcanic soils, natural springs and Winter frosts are conducive to cool climate viticulture, producing wines that are ready to drink, or perfect for cellaring. A full selection of wines will be available for tasting, with the Winemaker on hand to talk thru the journey from vine to bottle.
All wines will be available by the glass for a very special price of just $10, along with some great take home bottle & case prices!
To help celebrate the evening, Hotel Trentham Head Chef Jack Bennett has also put together a menu of 5 dishes specially paired to suit each of the wines being tasted, with each dish priced at just $35.
