First walk of 2026! Short notice for the Friday but will also be doing a second walk on Saturday May 25th. After a long winter let’s come together and bask in warmth of spring and witness the awakening of the forest floor.- All are welcome. Will go rain or shine.
- meet at the trail entrance between the ball diamond and the playground
- come for the socializing, plant identifying, and maybe some trail side nibbles depending on what we find and if it’s plentiful
- no foraging for take home please
- pretty easy hiking on natural trail surfaces with some small elevation changes.
- Some sections may have spring flooding or ponding so waterproof footwear is recommended
