Meet & Chat: with Dr Vladimir Pletser

This summer, we are delighted to announce that zero gravity space scientist Dr Vladimir Pletser will join us at Oriel Science for two family-friendly sessions.
In his work with NASA and ESA, Dr Pletser has designed experiments carried out by astronauts in orbit. He is a visiting professor at several universities in Europe, Africa, Asia and America. He has given several hundreds of conferences, seminars and invited lectures on microgravity research, astronautics, astronomy, geophysics, Mars exploration and SETI in universities and schools, as well as for the general public. He is the only person in the world to have flown parabolas on 14 different aircraft.
