Meet the Maker: Santiago Gouguenheim

Santiago is coming! One of our favorite winemakers – and not just for his delicious wines – will be back in Mobile on Thursday, November 20, with a special tasting at Firehouse Wine Bar. Many of you have met Santiago Gouguenheim before and sampled his crowd-pleasing Argentinian wines, but if you haven’t, you don’t want to miss out as this will be his only event in Mobile this time around.

Gouguenheim winery, one of the highest estates in Mendoza, Argentina, was established by Santiago’s father in 2002 and together the two have been making acclaimed reds and sparklings for more than 20 years. This tasting, we’ll be trying 5 wines (Sparkling Rose, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Malbec Reserve, Cab Reserve) along with assorted appetizers (yes, homemade Empanadas may be involved!)
