In Brahms’ First Piano Concerto, a quiet piano entrance builds into a duel between soloist and orchestra. What should you listen for as the tension builds?
Join GSO Music Director Trond Sæverud for Meet the Maestro, a free, 30-minute conversation at Rosenberg Library. Trond will preview music by Brahms, Stamitz and Dvořák ahead of our Nov. 15 concert with pianist Anton Nel at The Grand.
Bring a question about the music, rehearsals or life on the podium, or just come to listen.
