Two walks this month on one of my personal favourite trails?? You betcha!
- All are welcome. Will go rain or shine. Plan on approximately two hours.
- The first walk this month will be on July 10th.
- meet at the trailhead on University Ave close to where University Ave ends at Bridge St near Pillars Meats
- come for the socializing, plant identifying, and maybe some trail side nibbles depending on what we find and if it’s plentiful
- no foraging for take home please
- moderate hiking on natural trail surfaces with some unexpected uneven terrain, rocks, and roots. It is a longer out and back trail so the pace might be quicker. Some parts of the trail are not stroller friendly.
- be prepared for biting insects and be aware of and practice tick checks after
- water and proper footwear recommended
