What should Waterfront Park be for the next generation?
The City of Portland is undertaking an international competition to redesign Gov. Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
Join Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R), Malcolm Reading Consultants, Interplay, Design Portland and a coalition of waterfront park supporters for a free evening to learn about the competition, see and hear how the three short-listed design teams each approach their work, and share your own hopes for the future of Gov. Tom McCall Waterfront Park

What to expect
5:30 - 7 pm | Arrive, connect and participate
- Enjoy a fun, interactive activity to share your hopes and priorities for the park and show the design teams who Portlanders are!
- Enjoy light refreshments
7pm - 8:30pm | Meet the Design Teams (Seated program begins promptly at 7pm)
- PP&R's project team will offer a brief Design Competition 101
- Each design team will introduce themselves, their past work, and their approach to design
- PP&R's project team will share timeline and what comes next in the competition
