Join the Brookfield Conservation Commission on Saturday, October 4, for our annual Meet the Creek event! There will be free activities for all ages, including:🛶 Canoe and kayak rides on Salt Creek
🐟 Meet fish and other critters caught and released in Salt Creek
🐢 Animal Encounters with The Natural Naturalist
🚲 The Title Wave book bike from Brookfield Library
🌳 Children's scavenger hunt and nature exploration station
🌧️ Rain barrel prize drawing
💪 Community organizations, including:
Brookfield Native Plants Club
Salt Creek Watershed Network
Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
Wild Ones of West Cook
♻️ This is a Zero Waste event! Remember to bring a reusable water bottle and use our free filling station.

***Canoeing and kayaking are free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Children riding in canoes must be 3 years or older, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
