Meet Andre Easton at Haffen Park in the Northeast Bronx. Bring the family. Come hear about our campaign for dignity, housing, fair wages, and a future that belongs to us — not the billionaires, not the landlords, but the workers who make society run.
Andre Easton has taught high school English in South Bronx public schools for 12 years. He is a lifelong Bronx resident and a father of three, with twins on the way. He knows firsthand how much Bronx workers put into this economy, and how little we get back.
Andre is a socialist running for Congress in NY-15 against Ritchie Torres. He entered this race because the Bronx does not need another politician. It needs a movement. A movement that demands lower rent and fully funded public housing. A $30 minimum wage. Free childcare, free healthcare, free mental healthcare, and free treatment for drug addiction.
That movement gets built block by block, neighbor by neighbor. So come to the park and bring a neighbor with you. Waiting for you there:
