Meet The Black Doulas: Rooted in Joy

Meet the Black Doulas: Rooted in Joy is a free, community-centered event designed to bring together Black doulas, families, and community members in a space of connection, support, and care.

We are opening this space to all Black doulas across our community creating an opportunity to meet, connect, and build relationships across organizations.

This event is about more than information; it’s about access, community, and showing up for one another.

What to expect:

• Meet and connect with Black doulas
• Build relationships with other Black families
• Learn how to access doula and mental health services (including Medicaid-covered care)
• Shop gently used baby and postpartum items for FREE
• Hear real stories from families and birthworkers
• Experience a space where you are Safe, Seen, and Heard

This event is open to Black birthing people, families, partners, and community members.

We intentionally made this event free because access should never be the reason someone goes unsupported during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.

Families will have access to a selection of gently used baby and postpartum items, offered with care to support growing families in our community.
