Fiona Roberston is a publisher of Watkins and Nourish where she commisions books about ancient wisdom, folklore, herbalism, witchcraft and the occult. She has a deep interest in history of all sorts and is a long-standing megalith enthusiast.She will be talking about her new book Stone Lands which combines folklore, history and archaeology. Describing her decades long quest to explore the standing stones of Britain, it emphasis the benefits that visiting ancient sites can bring, offering a way of connecting with nature, the past and ancient ways of being.
This event is part of the Words Alive in Libraries tour, presented by South Western Regional Library Services and Literature Works, and funded by Arts Council England.
This is a 'pay what you can' event with a suggested ticket price of £5.
