Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Carter is the author of the Death Book Series, including Death Rattle (2.0 edition)—which also features the prequel novella Death Gasp—and Death Twitch (Book Two of the series). Her work blends urban fantasy and romantasy, where murder mysteries collide with fae magic, slow-burn romance, and morally gray love interests.
