Please join us for a welcome reception honoring Christine Handy, author, breast cancer survivor, advocate, and Executive Producer of the film Hello Beautiful.

This intimate and relaxed gathering is an opportunity to meet Christine and hear the deeper story behind her work, in her own words. From the pages of her bestselling novel Walk Beside Me to its evolution into a feature film, Christine will share how and why she set out to change the way cancer stories are told.

Christine’s work challenges the traditional narrative of a cancer diagnosis, and reframes it through the lens of femininity, identity, and inner strength. Hello Beautiful is part of her larger mission to rewrite the script on beauty: honoring resilience, vulnerability, self-worth, and the lived female experience that continues long after treatment ends.

Together, we’ll explore how her story moved from book to screen, the creative decisions that shaped the film, and what comes next as Christine continues using storytelling to expand how we understand beauty, healing, and womanhood.
