Join us for our fifth evening of our “Meet the Artist” event in the Speakeasy - a cozy, informal evening of conversation, creativity, and community.
Meet August’s featured artist, Michael Monko of The Mossy Beetle, a full-time mixed media artist in State College, and owner of The Mossy Beetle. His work has strong surreal and absurdist tones with a touch of whimsy, and a decidedly grungy aesthetic. His work has been seen in the film Burlesque, the TV show “Modern Family,” on HGTV’s “Dear Genevieve,” Avanti greeting cards, and numerous book and album covers among other collaborative projects.
