About this Event
Join us for the Gallery Walk on April 3rd from 5–8pm at International Art Project for an opportunity to meet Constance Scopelitis in person and experience her work firsthand.
Constance Scopelitis is a formally trained painter whose practice bridges classical technique with contemporary media. Known for her mastery of figurative drawing and portraiture, Scopelitis expands into lenticular prints, animation, neon, and interactive technologies, creating work that feels both timeless and distinctly 21st century.
Across the exhibition, her narrative-driven pieces explore themes of social awareness, identity, and human vulnerability in an increasingly technological world. Works like Heads Up and Alexa Can’t Deliver This critique modern disconnection and complacency, while Flower Boom and Shockra examine inner resilience, bias, and the search for balance and self-awareness. In Venus Redux II, she reimagines a classical icon through the lens of contemporary digital culture.
Grounded in a desire to inspire and uplift, Scopelitis’s work reflects her belief that art can offer both hope and meaningful engagement in times of cultural and environmental uncertainty.
