"I have just returned from Malawi, Africa where the Malawian NGO, HEEED, is actively engaged in a recycling waste project related to underwater-garbage in Lake Malawi National Park - UNESCO World Heritage Site. This community project is spear-headed by a strong female diving team and the images show the diverse waste products that they have brought ashore in this lake - with its 850 + unique species of endemic fish….This event was also recorded by the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation - an in- depth documentary about HEEED’s diving team, their commitment to removing underwater garbage and also recycling some of the found waste products - into attractive handicrafts.
