Meet Sally Rooney at Waterstones Piccadilly

We’re delighted to host what promises to be an incredibly special evening with Sally Rooney. On the eve of publication we will be joined by the internationally-bestselling author, as she signs copies of her latest novel Intermezzo.

From the bestselling author of Normal People, Conversations with Friends and Beautiful World Where Are You comes Intermezzo, which follows two brothers as they navigate the turmoil and joy of love after the passing of their father. For two grieving brothers and the people they love, this is a new interlude – a period of desire, despair and possibility – a chance to find out how much one life might hold inside itself without breaking.
Ticketholders will have the opportunity to hear Sally reading from Intermezzo, to launch the book signing. Sally will be reading at 7.30pm, just before the signing begins, and you will be able to listen to this from your position in the queue.
Terms and Conditions

• Each ticket entitles the ticketholder to one copy of Intermezzo which will be available for collection on the day. Extra copies will be available to purchase on the day.
• Sally will be signing a maximum of 2 copies of Intermezzo per person and will only dedicate one copy.
• Sally will only be signing copies of Intermezzo at this event.
• You will be required to show your ticket on the day of the event, to gain entry, and as proof of purchase.
• The queue will be formed on a first come first served basis, with priority given to those who require accessibility support.
• There will be queueing required before you meet the author. We will aim to keep you updated on your waiting time, but please come prepared to queue.
• Outside queuing will be required, so please do come dressed appropriately for all weathers and keep hydrated.
• To avoid disappointment, we must stress there will be no opportunity to meet Sally Rooney without a ticket.
• Ticketholders must be present at the event to receive their signed copy of the book. If you are unable to attend, please contact [email protected]. Refunds can only be accepted before the event takes place.
